In this research, a new type of high-strength environmentally friendly plywood was prepareddeveloped. Different from the traditional gluing hot-processing process, this research uses used the Vacuum assisted resin transfer molding process (VARTM) process to inject epoxy resin into the stacked veneers, and then heathot-presses pressed the resin to for curecuring, to improve the bonding strength, and obtain achieve a new type of high-strength environmentally friendly plywood environmentally friendly. The traditional plywood has defects drawbackssuch as of low strength, poor adhesion between the glue layer and woodveneers, and formaldehyde emission.release. In this research, the epoxy resin infused veneers were was subjected to hot hot-pressing to obtain a densified sample plywood with very smallreduced porosity, which solved the problems of poor adhesion and formaldehyde emission during manufacturingrelease and poor adhesion. The complete combination of the sample veneers and the epoxy resin were completely combined by filled filling a large number of pores existing in natural wood veneers. The bending strength of the newly developed plywood is was three times of that of the natural poplar, and the tensile strength is was more than twice of that of natural poplar. The mechanical properties of the plywood wereare greatly improved, and the surface has had a certain degree of hydrophobicity. The new high-strength and environmentally friendly plywood produced by this research institute is of great significance to the development of new wood material preparation production technology and improvement of environmental protection.
