Biomass potassium can not only improve its gasification rate with coal, but also pyrolysis biomass tar by high temperature gasification of coal, which can improve the element utilization rate of the system. Due to the great difference in energy density between coal and biomass, the temperature of coal gasifier will change after adding biomass, which will lead to the change of product composition. Therefore, it is very important to study the distribution of temperature and products in the process of co-gasification of coal and biomass. Based on the heat transfer and kinetic parameters obtained in the laboratory, a self-heating co-gasification reactor of coal and biomass was constructed by using COMSOL Multi-physics software, and the relationship between the temperature change of the reactor and the product composition under different process conditions was studied. The results show that the axial temperature of combustion zone decreases and the temperature of reduction zone decreases slowly with the increase of biomass addition. With the increase of biomass addition ratio, the content of CO and H2 increased, the content of CO2 decreased, and the calorific value and cold gas efficiency increased. When biomass is added into the co gasification reactor from the gasification zone, the axial temperature in the combustion zone of the reactor changes little compared with the single coal gasification process. However, with the increase of biomass addition rate, the axial temperature in the gasification zone decreases sharply, the content of CO and H2 in the product composition increases, and the content of CO2 decreases. The axial temperature of gasification zone decreases with the increase of steam flow rate, while the temperature of combustion zone changes little. With the increase of steam flow, the contents of H2 and CH4 increase, while the contents of CO and CO2 decrease. The axial temperature of gasification zone increases with the increase of oxygen equivalent, while the temperature of combustion zone increases slowly. With the increase of oxygen equivalent, CO reacts with oxygen further, resulting in the decrease of CO content and the increase of CO2 content. The temperature rise in the gasification zone of the reactor is conducive to endothermic reaction, resulting in the increase of H2 content and the decrease of CH4 content.
