Amine containing materials are useful in diverse applications including drug-delivery, CO<sub>2</sub> capture, polymer compatibilization and anti-microbial coatings. Hydroaminoalkylation is an emerging catalytic technology for the direct addition of amines to alkenes. Recent advances have enabled the addition of both N-methylanilines and N-methylalkylamines to internal and terminal alkenes. Here we show that titanium ureate hydroaminoalkylation catalysts can be used in a solvent free protocol to access monomers suitable for ROMP to generate poly-aminated materials or in post-polymerization modification of vinyl terminated polyolefins to make amine-terminated polyolefins. Deploying this 100% atom-economic alkene functionalization reaction featuring the earth abundant and low toxicity titanium metal enables the green synthesis of these amine containing materials. A range of tunable properties are accessible and remarkable adhesion and self-healing properties can be obtained. These novel materials show promise for diverse applications including recent advances in the development of new anti-corrosion coatings.
