Gathering and transportation of high water-bearing crude oil in Low-temperature can reduce investment for oil fields, but there is a major constraint: crude oil sticks to the pipe wall during low-temperature gathering resulting in reduced pipeline flow area, which causes increased wellhead pressure and higher trunk line pressure and severely limits the implementation of unheated gathering. We use small loop in lab to simulate the real flow situation in the field, summarize the macroscopic rules of solidified crude oil adhesion to the wall, and study the strength of condensate adhesion layer, collision probability of gelled oil mass particles, condensate adhesion force, interfacial characteristics of condensate mass and wall and the influence of components on intermolecular forces, in order to lay the foundation for exploring the mechanism of crude oil adhesion to the wall. We believes that the medium of high water content and low temperature transportation is a multi-phase and complex system, the adhesion of crude oil and the pipe wall is subject to many factors, which is a phenomenon of multiple factors acting in concert, and the crude oil sticking wall under high water content is different from the wax deposition mechanism, and the intermolecular force plays a dominant role.
