The development of machine tools toward high precision, intelligence, multi-axis and high speed, how to improve the processing performance and rigidity of the machine is very important.

This paper focuses on designing a high-speed five-axis moving-column machine tool and performing structural analysis and optimization. Study the static and dynamic characteristics of the five-axis machine tool, design and improve the mechanical structure, and optimize the structural configuration of the machine. The structure of the entire machine is further analyzed and improved to improve its static and dynamic characteristics, including static rigidity, modal characteristics, transient characteristics, and spectral response characteristics. The static and dynamic characteristics of the machine structure will directly affect the processing performance of the machine It further affects the precision of the work pieces machined by the tool. Through this research, the design technology to speed, accuracy and surface roughness of the machine tool are further improved.

About 30,000-40,000 engineers across all mechanical engineering and related disciplines participate in ASME conferences each year. This includes authors of approximately 6,000 to 8,000 technical papers published by ASME, the majority of whom also submit video presentations for our virtual conferences. The video collection will be available as an add-on to existing product packages or as a separate subscription.
