*Marine gas turbines have been widely used and developed in the field of marine power. Making them operate safely and efficiently is important. This paper studies the method of using extended Kalman filter (EKF) to estimate the health status of gas path components, and uses the sequential quadratic programming (SQP) algorithm to seeking the performance of a triaxial gas turbine in the event of gas path anomaly. To make the simulation results accurate, a component-level simulation model of the marine triaxial gas turbine was established on the Matlab/Simulink platform.* *The classical Newton-Raphson iterative method combined with component characteristic diagrams is used to solve the characteristics of each component.* *Since the triaxial gas turbine is a non-linear system, the rotor equilibrium algebraic equations were replaced by dynamic differential equations and the Runge-Kutta method is used to solve the dynamic process of the nonlinear model.* *This method of solving the triaxial gas turbine model enables the non-linear system can be directly applied to EKF.*

*Simulations of the marine triaxial gas turbine under different conditions verify the effectiveness of the above parameters estimation method. The results show that the EKF method is an effective method for combining nonlinear systems with traditional Kalman filtering. Finally, we give optimization curves of performance seeking using the SQP algorithm. The marine triaxial gas turbine achieved the target performance under the constraints of nonlinear inequality. *Performance seeking restores the output power of the marine gas turbine and reduces the inlet and outlet temperatures of turbines. *This method can accurately estimate the gas path health status and seeking the optimal performance in case of gas path abnormal. It can effectively prevent the problem of excessive combustion and ensure the safe and stable operation of marine gas turbines.*
