We have chosen two speakers who exemplify the conference theme of Disruption, Agility and Zero Carbon. Glenn Llewellyn is Vice President, Zero Emission Aircraft at Airbus. Airbus has the ambition to develop the world's first zero-emission commercial aircraft by 2035. The company is exploring a variety of hybrid-electric and hydrogen technology options. Their approach is not only ambitious, but rather to create a seismic shift in the industry. Daniel Wiegand is CEO of Lilium and inventor of the aircrafts concept and propulsion system. Lilium are one of the worldÃ”Ã¸Î©s leading companies in the urban mobility arena, with the aim of city centre to city centre emissions-free transport. The company has not only had to develop a completely new propulsion technology but has also had to develop a completely new market and business model. Daniel will share his experience of developing disruptive, radically different technologies and will explain how the company has overcome these challenges.

Supporting the need among researchers worldwide for additional online and multimedia content, ASME now offers the ASME Conference Video Collection. This platform will collect and provide long-term access to conference presentation videos, encompassing all technology areas within ASME's technical conference and events program. About 30,000-40,000 engineers across all mechanical engineering and related disciplines participate in ASME conferences each year. This includes authors of approximately 6,000 to 8,000 technical papers published by ASME, the majority of whom also submit video presentations for our virtual conferences. The video collection will be available as an add-on to existing product packages or as a separate subscription.
