Background: Medicinal plants based medicine and active phytochemical have been used in the developing country such as India for their primary needs due to their medicinal importance and therapeutic benefit in the human disorders. Eupatorin is one of the active phytochemical of Salvia mirzayanii which have numerous pharmacological activities in the medicine and other allied health sectors. Methods: To know the health beneficial aspects of eupatorin in the medicine, here in the present investigation numerous scientific data has been searched to collect the needed information of the eupatorin. All the collected literature data has been analyzed in order to know the therapeutic potential of eupatorin in the medicine. Detailed pharmacological activities of the eupatorin have been investigated through literature analysis of various scientific research works. Antioxidant activity of eupatorin in the medicine has been evaluated through the scientific data analysis of various scientific research works. Results: Literature data analysis of various scientific research works revealed the health beneficial aspects and antioxidant activity of eupatorin in the medicine for the treatment of numerous human health complications. Literature data analysis revealed the effectiveness of eupatorin against various oxidative conditions which play an important role in the atherogenesis. In another literature database, the free radical scavenging activity of the eupatorin isolated from Centaurea virgat was determined through DPPH assay. Conclusion: Literature data analysis of various research works revealed the biological potential of eupatorin in the medicine due to their antioxidant potential.
