Sweeteners and lozenges were tested for aspartame using a colorimetric method with a modified biuret reagent. The figures of merit for the method including limit of detection, limit of quantification and linear dynamic range are reported. Statistical analysis of the variability of aspartame in sweeteners and lozenges are reported.
