This training includes part of the history behind the GLPs, why they were written as they were.  The fraud uncovered by the FDA was astounding, and led to the creation of the GLPs. Have you heard of the magic pencil study or the swamp?  While many already are aware of issues noted at Searle and Industrial Biotest, a significant number of other issues occurred prior to those firms, including Merrell and Ayerst.  Every section of the FDA and EPA GLP regulations was written directly to address issues that occurred.  Information presented will help attendees understand how to apply the regulations in today's environment.
