Air quality is an important concern for the human body because it has a direct impact on it and the whole world takes it seriously. This is more important in developing countries like India. Studies have shown that air quality is far below safety levels in most of India's metropolitan areas, especially in its capital, New Delhi. The unplanned way of urbanization is a major cause of pollution, as it is one of the major causes of environmental damage, and the product is "environmental degradation". It is necessary not just for physical health but for mental health too. But as the data suggests, Delhi has been ranked the most polluted capital in the world, according to a Greenpeace report 2020. According to Down to Earth magazine it has revealed that air pollution in Delhi is responsible for approximately 10,000 to 30,000 annual deaths in the city. This means the capital city loses 80 lives every day just because of pollution from PM2.5. Studies says that across India, 400,000 premature deaths per year could be avoided, if we would meet the WHO standards.<br/>In this review we will try to observe the pulmonary health of Delhi as it gets directly affected by Pollution.
