Pharmaceutical and chemical industries are facing the big challenge of finding adequate processes to produce large quantities of new products with special care of environment. Due to the crucial climate change issues, it is very important to focus on the novel developments for the organic synthesis in the areas such as catalysis, reagents, efficient synthetic methods and alternative energy sources having less impact on the environment and the risk of disasters.  <br/>Azaheterocycles always played a vital role in biological processes and are widespread as natural products. N-heterocycles are well known scaffolds for compounds that exhibit interesting biological activities like antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antinociceptive, anticancer etc. The importance of N-heterocycles makes essential to develop new methods to enhance their synthetic efficiencies and investigate the effects of their modifications on biological potential. The fundamental relevance of nitrogen-containing heterocycles in pharmaceuticals cannot be understated, as the presence of such ring systems in compounds such as vitamins, herbicides, anti-fungal agents, anti-bacterial agents, anti-cancer agents etc. The importance of these applications has created an unprecedented need for more efficient synthetic methodologies with environment sustainability which led the organic synthesis to excellent levels of sophistication.
