In the effort to expand the Molten Salt Thermodynamic Database-Thermochemical (MSTDB-TC) for reciprocal salt systems of interest for molten-salt reactors (MSR) development we have evaluated iodide systems which have been measured and reported previously. The reported thermodynamic models, however, are seen to require reassessment using a self-consistent methodology within the CALPHAD approach. In this work, we assessed the thermochemical properties of the various pseudobinary systems including but not limited to LiI-LiF, LiI-LiCl, LiI-LiBr, LiF-LiCl, LiBr-LiCl, and LiF-LiBr based on reported experimental phase diagrams, eutectic temperatures, and enthalpy of mixing. Using models of the pseudobinary systems, we were able to extrapolate to the related pseudoternary and pseudoquaternary systems
