Throughout my career, I have had numerous opportunities to mentor women at multiple educational and professional levels. In this talk, I will discuss some of the scientific work I have done with amazing women throughout my career, and discuss how women can find and take advantage of mentorship and collaborative opportunities. Additionally, I will describe how becoming a mentor can lead to support and improvement for both the mentor and the mentee. This will include my experiences with mentorship and collaboration at levels from middle school students to fellow postdoctoral scholars. In particular, I will focus on experiences that have created a positive and productive environment to perform scholarly research.
