Organic chemistry class worksheets were developed over the past few semesters to engage students during class sessions.  The worksheets are scaffolded to connect new material to prior knowledge and provide opportunities for students to make predictions on their own through discussion with peers.  Activities are embedded into the worksheets that are supported by the <i>Mechanisms </i>app (by Alchemie).  With the app, students can move electrons and translate the movement to paper in the form of a curved-arrow mechanism.    These worksheets were used in-person with more than 250 students in a second-year organic class with a team of teaching and learning assistants to guide and support students with activities and discussion.  Formative feedback was collected from students in a number of ways; drawing a name from a hat, informal response cards, and a daily notecard.  The worksheets and class activities translated well to remote synchronous teaching with 340+ students.  Feedback is collected via polling, ‘waterfall’ answers in the chat, and daily questions via the course management system. This presentation will highlight the development of class worksheets coupled with the <i>Mechanisms</i> app, class implementation, as well as student and instructor feedback.
