CO2 corrosion of steel in natural gas pipelines has been investigated by many authors. The economic cost that it represents, and the risks, generated a push-up in the investigation of CO2 corrosion. In general, each decade, the information changed. Some investigations have been kept and others have been rejected. This work has started with a review of how theoretical description has been changing through this period of time.

@LatinXChem is a virtual forum through which the community of Latin American chemists, located anywhere in the world, can share and discuss their research results and advances.
