It also participates in the inhibition of pro-inflammatory cytokines such as IL-17A and promotes the production of CD4 + T cells in neuroinflammatory processes, which opens the possibility of treating neuroinflammatory and neurodegenerative diseases. However, in some cases it presents adverse effects and that is why the development of new derivatives that can inhibit therapeutic targets such as cancer, inflammatory or neurological, with simple synthesis of simple structural analogs that continue to maintain the functional molecular structure, is relevant. of AG-17 that are candidates for new, more specific drugs with fewer adverse effects.
