Cu (II) complexes comprising of a tetradentate-amido quinoline ligands were synthesized (Scheme 1) and characterized by various analytical techniques (Single crystal XRD, UV-Vis, HR-MS, EPR and CV). Further these complexes were utilized for hydroxylation of aromatic C-H bond using H2O2 as an oxidant (Scheme 2).
