A highly chemoselective C–H arylation of phenylureas was accomplished using dual palladium–photoredox catalysis at room temperature without any additives, base or external oxidants.1 Similarly, regioselective C–H arylation of N,N1-diaryl substituted (unsymmetrical) phenylureas were successfully demonstrated. This strategy was also applied successfully for a variety of di & tri-substituted phenylureas to obtain the resultant products in good to excellent yields.
