Modern technology is advancing among every single day, and 3D printing technology has progressively evolved, and the cost effectiveness and diversified manufacturing features of 3D printing have become one of the primary points for manufacturers to consider while choosing parts and accessories.The rigidity of the structure of the CNC 3d printer machine when operating will affect its stability in precision. By increasing the rigidity of the machine structure, machining parameters such as travel speed can be increased with the same precision. It can be shortening the production time of the 3D printer machine, where nowadays the production time is one of the disadvantages of 3d printers. A simulation is a useful tool in designing, to predict the characteristics of the system being studied. Modal simulation and harmonic response analysis aim to predict the dynamic characteristics of the 3d printer, in this research use Prusa I3 MK3S+.In this analysis, the Finite Element Method (FEM) is used to evaluate the configuration of the entire machine and the effects of the deformation and resonance of the machine are extracted. &nbsp;As 1 N was applied to the Z axis direction, static rigidity test was carried out with a maximum deformation of 11.4μm.The normal frequency and mode form of the structure is calculated with modal analysis and heat analysis is also performed. The Frequency of the system between 1HZ and 500Hz the finite element analysis approach is used. Results from modal analysis demonstrate that the frequency of vibration and the normal frequency of the unit. The first-mode natural frequency is 22.8 Hz.The nozzle temperature is set to 280 degrees, the hot bed is 120 degrees, the thermal conductivity of the stainless steel is 15W/M square, and the rest of the sheet metal is the convection temperature 5W/M square. The maximum deformation is at 0.95mm and the minimum deformation is at 0.02mmFrom the simulation were obtained, the value of natural frequency, vibration mode, and compliance of the 3d printer machine. This paper presents a Modal Testing experiment conducted directly on a 3D printer to verify the results of the simulation. Furthermore, the trial run of the 3d printer machine to print a design created by the researchers and 1 model from the Kickstarter company. The simulation results show a trend that is not much different from the experimental results. The product of the machine also shows quite good quality. Thus, modal simulation and harmonic response analysis can be used as a preliminary study to study the dynamic characteristics of a 3d printer machine.
