<p>Romania, as part of the EU has adopted new legislation concerning international energetic exchanges, based on the cooperation rules. Only permanent and intense international exchanges can ensure the development, economically speaking, of each state member and not only. In reality, many countries outside the EU are either state which provide the main energetic resources, direct energy, or are countries which allow the oil and gas transport on their territories. Finally, each state must be a win-win solution concerning the energy exchanges. All the EU countries accept that a Pan-European Energy Market – PEEM, is absolutely necessary, mainly now, after the Brexit. Nowadays, the energetic interconnections based on international relations and cooperation imposes new concepts concerning the strategies in high education. Economical exchanges, energetic cross-border transfers, specialists from all domains educated in universities from the entire world, represent realities for the international scientific world. The present paper illustrates some new concepts and essential steps in engineering education and not only. International rules and their implementation at the national level must be adapted to the new finance and economic realities being quite important, especially in the actual economic pandemic context. All rules and regulations are based on the market economy interconnected to the international networks, necessary in developing business opportunities.&nbsp; The market opportunities are analyzed for the existing domestic enterprises with weaknesses and strengths points, collaborated with the experience from foreign markets, with similar opportunities and problems. Second part presents the analysis of the target market segmentation, based on new possible criteria. Considering the targets on analysis of the attractiveness and competitiveness, are determined the advantages of being an educated engineer based on the selection of the strategy choice. The success depends on the ability to understand and generate customers. Essential is not only the product creation but more important is to create customers, which ensures and maintain the brand loyalty. A separate paragraph is dedicated to analyze the strategic role of small developers’ management for ensuring economic competitiveness and efficiency. All new graduates, master students, or Ph.D. specialists in power engineering will have to deal with the new strategic objectives of investments, new legislation and trends as solutions in minimizing global warming, increasing energy efficiency, utilization of renewable resources, environmental protection, etc. Each new step in energy sector must create products and services that meet the needs of local or nationwide population, with an efficient cost compared with the current competition, especially nowadays, when the free market concept was introduced in the energetic domain.</p>

This platform will collect and provide long-term access to conference presentation videos, encompassing all technology areas within ASME's technical conference and events program. About 30,000-40,000 engineers across all mechanical engineering and related disciplines participate in ASME conferences each year. This includes authors of approximately 6,000 to 8,000 technical papers published by ASME, the majority of whom also submit video presentations for our virtual conferences. The video collection will be available as an add-on to existing product packages or as a separate subscription.
