1&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; IntroductionDome lifting is usually the level one milestone in nuclear power projects and it is also an important handover stage from civil construction to equipment and components installation in Reactor Building. During the lifting process, the dome has a large windward surface which is easy to shake at the high altitude position. It is easy to collide with the protruding parts of the polar crane that has already put in place in reactor building. Based on one of the domestic nuclear power project under construction in China, this paper will give the method and process for dome lifting simulation combined with 3D model and survey on site, which help to ensure the smooth implementation of the milestone of dome lifting2&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Scheme for Dome Lifting Simulation2.1 Preparation for SchemeIn order to ensure the integrity and accuracy of 3D verification and simulation, it is first necessary to check the integrity and correctness of design model input data in 3D model. The technical preparation plan will be given in this chapter.2.2 Premises for Design SimulationMany equipment and items are installed before dome lifting. The inputs information for design simulation needs to be considered.2.3 3D VerificationNAVISWORKS software is used for verification by importing the PDMS model into NAVISWORKS as lightweight model. The collision area will be set and the theoretical spacing measurement information is recorded.2.4 Survey on Site3D verification is a theoretical design simulation and the deviation from the design environment may be caused by the deviations and non-conformities of actual equipment manufacture and installation on site. It is necessary to carry out survey for the installed items in dome to get the actual data on site.2.5 Analysis of the simulationThe positions surveyed on-site will be specified before survey activities, which need to be analyzed and compared with 3D model design data to find the risks before lifting.2.6 Result of SimulationResult of simulation and recommendation will be given to solve the problem .3&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; ConclusionThe verification process and methods introduced can be used as reference in subsequent projects. In the process of implementing and applying this technology, the contents that need to be paid attention will be summarized.
