<p>An integrated high-temperature design evaluation platform of ‘HITEP’ (HIgh Temperature design Evaluation Program) covering the two major high-temperature design rules of ASME BPVC Section III Division 5 Subsection HB(hereafter ‘ASME-HB’) and French RCC-MRx has been developed. The HITEP platform consists of the two-program modules of HITEP_ASME-HB and HITEP_RCC-MRx. HITEP_RCC-MRx is a design evaluation module based on recent version of RCC-MRx and it has two high-temperature design evaluation sub-modules on pressure boundary components and piping systems. HITEP_ASME-HB is a design evaluation module based on recent version of ASME-HB and it has one design evaluation sub-module on pressure boundary components (the piping design part in ASME-HB is not in complete status). The HITEP software has been used for design of a large-scale sodium test facility(LxWxH = 15mx12mx30m), called STELLA(The Sodium Integral Effect Test Loop for Safety Simulation and Assessment)-2 whose construction has been completed in July 2020 at KAERI(Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute). The program verifications were conducted extensively for both program modules of HITEP_ASME-HB and HITEP_RCC-MRx with pressure boundary components and piping systems in the STELLA-2. This web-based platform can be used with high reliability and efficiency for the design of high-temperature pressure boundary components and piping systems subjected to high temperature operation at creep regime in a nuclear power plant, fusion reactor and thermal power plants.</p>

This platform will collect and provide long-term access to conference presentation videos, encompassing all technology areas within ASME's technical conference and events program. About 30,000-40,000 engineers across all mechanical engineering and related disciplines participate in ASME conferences each year. This includes authors of approximately 6,000 to 8,000 technical papers published by ASME, the majority of whom also submit video presentations for our virtual conferences. The video collection will be available as an add-on to existing product packages or as a separate subscription.
