With the development of aviation technology, aircraft safety is becoming more and more important. In order to ensure the safety of aircraft in the airworthiness regulations, the concept of life-limited components is proposed, which is intended to effectively manage safety by limiting the life of key components such as turbine disks. Therefore, it is very important to determine the life of these components. At present, the Weight function method(WFM) has been adopted to calculate stress intensity factor K in the process of life management of engine turbine disk using probability failure risk assessment. However the process is complex and the modeling is unstable. Therefore, this paper solves this problem by establishing a database. The significance of the results of this paper is that by establishing a database, the complex modeling process can be skipped in the process of solving stress intensity factor K, thus greatly improving the efficiency and facilitating the follow-up work and the influence of the position of the crack in the finite bodies on the stress intensity factor K is discussed.At present, the main types of cracks in aero engine’s life-limiting parts are: corner crack, surface crack and internal crack. This paper mainly focuses on the specific type in internal crack: central crack. The main method of this paper is to find out the rules between the weight function parameters and the crack parameters through a large number of modeling, combining with the three-dimensional weight function method which has been verified by our research group, and to establish a database. In this paper, the ABAQUS is used to study the crack model. Contour integral is used to calculate the stress intensity factor, and the errors between the WFM results and the finite element results are explicitly small within the application scope. At the same time, in order to meet the needs of a large number of modeling, the function of automatic modeling and post-processing is realized by using the command stream of the software, so as to improve the efficiency. Dimensionless processing is used to find the rules and at last the position effect between central crack and general internal crack on the stress intensity factor K is discussed.This paper has basically finds out the rules of the central crack and transformed it into a concise mathematical expression using Response surface method (RSM). Based on this study, we anticipate that other kind of cracks may have similar laws, and the research method in this paper can be used for reference to explore cracks in the future.
