Chemical shift is used in synthetic chemistry to determine the structure of molecules. In organometallic chemistry, these numbers often show larger range than in organic chemistry.<br/>Here, we will show how these numbers help to reconstruct the electronic struccture of organometallic compounds and how they contain information about their reactivity. We will also show how they provide insight in key reaction intermediates in catalytic processes.
