The COVID-19 pandemic disrupted education on an unprecedented scale.  Now, as the world settles into a new normal, laboratory educators are preparing to build on lessons learned from the pandemic to determine how to best conduct future laboratory education.  This presentation reviews the literature published during the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in order to illuminate possible paths forward for laboratory education.
