Lab Safety and chemical maintenance are foundational concepts for all chemistry classes and careers. It is therefore imperative that students have a solid understanding of how to be safe and work properly in the laboratory. This curriculum was designed for use in multiple chemistry courses offered at the high school level, with each course being taught at a different level of learning. Learning outcomes were developed through a backward design process in collaboration between the high school and a local college. This talk will present the processes and methodologies of creating the curricula as well as how videos were created to supplement the learning outcomes.
