Electrochemical Oxygen Evolution is an important reaction in energy conversion and storage. It can be catalyzed by nobel metal based catalysts such as, IrO2 and RuO2 , however their high cost and low abundance prohibit their wide-scale application. In this work, Cobalt oxide / Nanocarbon was prepared from two different MOF structures by inert atmosphere. The morphological, structural, and textural properties as prepared catalysts were investigated by TEM, XRD, XPS, and N2 adsorption experiment. In addition, their catalytic activity towards Oxygen Evolution Reaction ( OER ) was studied compared to Co3O4 in alkaline medium.
