The discovery and development of a successful drug is dependent upon the quality of the compound advanced and the ingenuity, collaborative spirit and commitment of the scientists involved in its characterization and development.  In this presentation, I will reflect on the many discoveries made in pursuit of drug candidates designed to address unmet medical need in cardiovascular, CNS and viral diseases and the scientists that I’ve had the good fortune to collaborate with in a 40 year career at Bristol Myers Squibb.
