Founded at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, the ACS UFRJ Student Chapter is an international extension group of undergraduate and graduate students and an official part of the American Chemical Society. It is the first Brazilian ACS student chapter dedicated to Green Chemistry, which aims to bring this theme closer to high schools and universities in the State of Rio de Janeiro and support academic society in activities and debates on sustainable Chemistry,<br/>This work presents a science outreach project developed by ACS UFRJ Student Chapter, the Green Chemistry Winter School. The project was a forum for disseminating and discussing Green Chemistry to an audience of high school, undergraduate and graduate students, primary and higher education professors in Exact and Natural Sciences, and professionals in early career. Its main objective was to provide theoretical and practical instruments to understand the Green Chemistry principles and applications.<br/>Entitled " Special Topics In Green Chemistry: the integration between the current perspectives and the curriculum setting", the Winter School took place in the virtual format. This project had 40 pre-registrations of 13 higher education institutions in 4 Brazilian States, with chemistry-related areas participants. It was structured to meet the main demands of school and academic teaching and the general approaches in the corporate environment. In this context, we presented six lectures, two round tables, two workshops, and a mini-course on the following thematic areas: 1) The Brazilian School of Green Chemistry; 2) The history of scientific dissemination of Green Chemistry; 3) The communication of Green Chemistry: teaching and education; 4) Bioeconomy; 5) Life Cycle Assessment; 6) Experimentation in Green Chemistry; 7) The Thirty Years of Green Chemistry; 8) Green Chemistry and the Science, Technology and Society perspective; 9) Green Chemistry approaches in primary and higher education; 10) Trends and market challenges in Green Chemistry; and 11) The generation of scientific knowledge in the field of research and innovation.<br/>The academic community, motivated by researchers on the subjects of teaching, planning, strategy, competition and management, has a leading role in the discussions on the sustainability challenges in the Brazilian educational system and the implementation of policies that lead to the consolidation of this theme in higher education institutions of the country.
