Rubius Therapeutics is developing a novel allogeneic cell therapy platform called the RED PLATFORM®. Using the platform, we manufacture Red Cell Therapeutics (RCT™) by genetically engineering donor-derived precursor cells to express therapeutic proteins, culturing them to differentiate and mature them to erythroid lineage. RCTs are unique as they are unable to divide in the body and confined to the vasculature. RCT Development and Manufacturing, drawing parallels to other cell therapy approaches & Biologics will be highlighted.
