**Description**
An advanced electric propulsion system needs a high power-density motor. The high power-density motor needs a strong supply air rate and highly efficient cooling systems. However, the existing methods of blade propulsion and cooling (such as DOI: 10.1109/tte.2021.3075844) are difficult to meet the special needs of aero-electric propulsion. Some scholars have made clear demands, such as ‘Also, some advanced cooling method could be introduced, such as the winding with potting.’ (doi.org/10.4271/2022-01-0055). Although many solutions have been proposed, they are mixed. Some of these claims, (such as a smaller hub-to-tip ratio is preferred, and the highest motor power density could be increased by 246%,’ (DOI: 10.4271/01-11-02-0007)), are false or flimsy.
An advanced electric propulsion integrated system included a main motor, an adjustable thrust, and a cooling enhancement system. It not only effectively increased supply air rate and propulsion efficiency, but also provided efficient motor cooling to achieve high power density and smaller windward area. The system was including an adjustable differential fans system, a resistance regulation system and cooling air control and distribution system, which further improve the propulsion efficiency and capability. The adjustable differential fans system is a modified differential fans system (The differential fans system used a novel theory of equal linear velocity instead of equal angular velocity, in which central differential fan and annular differential fan (or fans) were with multiples of angular velocities, such as 2:1 or 3:1. That means the central differential fan can also to be a linear speed close to the speed of sound and generating a lot of thrust and efficiency).
