**Description**
The FACE (Future Airborne Capability Environment) international standard is an initiative by the Open Group that includes a data modeling language allowing specifying software computing environment architectures and interfaces for applications made of components for general-purpose, safety, an/or security purposes. AADL, the Architecture Analysis and Design Language is an SAE international standard that addresses these issues by defining guidelines for design and analysis through a Domain-Specific Modeling Language (DSML) for safety-critical embedded systems. To be able to use both of these languages, which have different information content and propose different views of a system, a mapping has been proposed and adopted by the AADL standards committee. In this paper, we present an implementation of this mapping as a bi-directional model transformation using the Triple Graph Grammar formalism and its tool MoTE. We use this case study to identify challenges in bi-directional model synchronization of models of rich industrial languages.
