Trifluoromethyl substituted alkenes and alkynes have been well established. However, the feasible synthesis to access trifluoromethyl allenes have never been reported. Herein we describe a silver-catalyzed intermolecular acylflouorination between 1,1-difluoro-1,3-enynes and acyl fluoride to access trifluoromethyl allenes. These compounds can be applied to the development of fluorine-containing pharmaceuticals. The reaction features mild conditions, good functionality tolerance and atom economy. Trivalent phosphorus also plays an important role in this reaction.
