Positive allosteric modulation (PAM) of the muscarinic acetylcholine receptor subtype 1 (M1) has been demonstrated as a powerful approach to understand the treatment of Alzheimer’s diseases (AD) and schizophrenia. In this poster presentation, we will describe the design and synthesis of the quinoline carboxamide series, and the development of the naphthyridine carboxamide series from our reported on pyrrolopyridine carboxamides (VU6007477). Both series display promising in vitro DMPK profiles with minimal agonism effects.
