Research in the Wackerly research lab has focused on a new class of redox-active supramolecular host molecules containing <i>p</i>-benzoquinones that we have termed: cambiarenes.  The focus of this presentation will be to describe our research efforts into increasing the yield in the synthesis of cambiarenes through a one-pot base catalyzed reaction involving 2, 3-dichloronaphthoquinone and 4,6-di-<i>tert</i>-butylresorcinol.
