The Division of Undergraduate Education seeks to improve student outcomes in STEM education through a variety of funding opportunities.  Two programs that support high impact practices are Improving Undergraduate STEM Education (IUSE) and IUSE: Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSI).  The IUSE program promotes novel, creative, and transformative approaches to generating and using new knowledge about STEM teaching and learning to benefit STEM education for undergraduates.  Many projects feature the implementation and study of high-impact practices at a variety of institutions of higher learning.  The HSI program has the goals of enhancing the quality of undergraduate STEM education and increasing the recruitment, retention, and graduation rates of students pursuing STEM degrees at Hispanic Serving Institutions.  In this talk, presenters will describe the IUSE and HSI programs, including their various focus areas and tracks.  Finally, the presenters will discuss the review process for IUSE and HSI proposals, and the opportunities for interested faculty and administrators to serve as panelists.
