Benzene derivatives containing two types of functional groups, one type occupying the 1,3,5-positions and another type in the 2,4,6-positions, are valuable precursors for numerous synthetic strategies. Herein, three-fold Buchwald-Hartwig coupling is utilized for the palladium-catalyzed amination of 2,4,6-tribromobenzene-1,3,5-tricarbaldehyde with benzophenone imine, resulting in the formation of 2,4,6-tris((diphenylmethylene)amino)benzene-1,3,5-tricarbaldehyde (<b>1</b>). Acid hydrolysis results in formation of free benzophenone and the production of free aryl-amine, as 2,4,6-triaminobenzene-1,3,5-tricarbaldehyde (<b>2</b>).
