Today, waste micro plastics after humans usage frequently causes serious environmental problems and their detection methods have been lagged due to many obstacles. <br/>In this study, using PS microplastics (MPs) binding peptide (PSBP), which was combined into microneedles having gold nanorods (Au NRs), microplastic detection system was built by microneedles array format by trimethylolpropane ethoxylate triacrylate (ETPTA) photolithography process. Specific binding of PS MPs on PSBP conjugated Au NRs could amplify the peak of PS microplastics under Raman detection, which could make PS detection more efficiently. Its effect is believed to be a plasmonic origin and it could detect MPs in low PS concentration to solve problem associated with low detection sensitivity from vibrational spectroscopic detection.
