We have recently developed a modular pretargeted radioimmunotherapy (PRIT) platform to safely deliver large doses of radioisotopes to tumors while sparing radiosensitive normal tissues including bone marrow, kidneys, or liver. Recent preclinical efforts to develop theranostic and high-therapeutic index targeted alpha-particle therapies for the treatment of GPA33-expressing human colorectal cancer will be emphasized.
