Fabrication of ligno-cellulosic film has attracted extensive attention due to the increasing demands to replace petroleum-based plastic packaging materials. In this study, two different types of ligno-cellulosic film were fabricated by a vacuum-assisted filtration and an alkali dissolution/regeneration process with various glycol ether-based bamboo organosolv fibrils. The morphological, physical, and mechanical properties of the films will be discussed.
