Raman spectroscopy delivers rich vibrational information along with quantifiable signals, allowing for the simultaneous detection and determination of target analytes,<sup>1</sup> especially, coupled with the surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) effect. Simultaneously, the recent developments in the micro and nanotechnology fields have allowed for the development of smart transducers capable of transforming different energy inputs such as chemical, magnetic or electromagnetic into motion, and allowing them to perform tasks in small or confined spaces.<sup>2</sup> Herein, we report a novel substrate comprising a transition metal dichalcogenide-based light-driven micromotor decorated with gold nanoparticles as a smart SERS substrate. The transition metal dichalcogenide micromotors allow for the light-driven motion towards the laser spot and the selective adsorption of a Raman probe such as crystal violet. Moreover, plasmonic gold nanoparticles were synthesized on the surface of the micromotors using a spontaneous one-pot modification. The use of the on-the-fly harvest and preconcentration method allowed for a 10-fold signal increase, paving the way for the development of advanced substrates.
