Thermoelectric generator(TEG) is one of the green energy harvester. However, despite recent researches in the thermoelectric properties, it is hard to applicate TEG in the ambient environment, because of the TEG’s low electrical performance. Herein, we optimized Bi2Te3 ink based TEG with triboelectric materials. The key component of the device consists of a dielectric layer and a metal layer with an air gap between them, attached at the cold side of a TEG. When the ion injection is applied into negatively charged material, triboelectric charges are created on the surface of the TEG increases with the charge density, which is tuned by the distance between TEG and ion injection gun and the applying time of injection. The output voltage of the TEG increases with the triboelectric materials. An output voltage of a single Bi2Te3 TE leg was generated with an increase of output voltage under 1 – 10 K and a distance is 3 cm and the applying time is 300 s. This is the new facile approach to increasing the output voltage of a TEG that does not involve material. modification is demonstrated
