Process chemists are faced with the challenge of developing safe and sustainable processes towards an increasingly diverse set of clinical candidates.  These clinical candidates often have challenging stereochemistry, uncommon heterocyclic architecture or sensitive functionality that require  creative solutions to enable execution on plant scale.   This talk with discuss the innovative synthetic strategies developed to enable routes and processes for the manufacture of clinical candidates within the Bristol Myers Squibb portfolio.
