Figuring out what to do in your life after a PhD in Chemistry is not always an easy journey. Looking for jobs in companies or trying to pursue an academic career? Which are the advantages / disadvantages of these possible choices? It took me few years to understand that my goal would be, most likely, to become a Professor. Moreover, an additional question has to be cleared in my mind: in which part of the world would I like to achieve this goal? And then, how long will it take? These two years as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Brookhaven National Lab for the CHASE energy innovation hub really helped me finding out some answers. With this short introduction, I hope the curiosity to attend my “career” talk will be fed!
