Chromone and chroman-4-one derivatives make up a wide array of biologically active compounds suitable for pharmacological application. Prior research shows the significance of chromanones as effective enzyme inhibitors associated with neurodegenerative diseases. The present study synthesizes various chroman-4-one derivatives and evaluates the structure-activity relationships of each compound for use as potential medicinal scaffolds. Syntheses using Suzuki reactions and aldol condensation reactions were performed along with <i>in vitro</i> assays to evaluate the potency of each compound.
