Antibiotics, as chemotherapy medicine, have widely applied for the treatment of human diseases, while the extensive use of antibiotics generated a large amount of antibiotics-containing wastewater. Antibiotics in aquatic environment has been threatening human health and the ecological systems. The adsorption method has broad application due to its simple operation, low cost, and high efficiency, and perovskite-type adsorbent have been used in adsorption process because of its excellent water stability, abundant oxygen vacancies, and tunable electronic structure. Therefore, the perovskite adsorbent could provide comprehensive applications for the removal of antibiotics. In this study, we focus on B-site metal molar ratio induced magnetic strength on adsorption performance, employing Ti/Co metal doping on B-site, which has been confirmed experimentally to enhance the stability and performance of perovskite adsorbent. The structures of LaFe0.55TixCo0.45-xO3-d (LFTC) modified perovskite adsorbent by sol-gel method will be presented and discussed at first. The adsorption performance, adsorption mechanism explanation and stability test of the adsorbent to tetracycline hydrochloride (TCH) will then be analyzed. The results show that the LFTC adsorbent is composed of particles with an average particle size of 20-50 nm and forms a porous structure. The LFTC material with a Ti doping ratio of 0.3 exhibits the strongest ferromagnetic behavior (Ms=7.27 emu/g), and the particle size of LFCT material decreases gradually. The small particle size can increase the uncompensated spin of titanium moment, which enhances the magnetization of LFT0.3C0.15 material. When the concentration of TCH is 10 mg/L and the amount of LFT0.3C0.15 adsorbent is 0.2 g/L, the TCH removal rate reaches 80% after adsorption for 30 min. The equilibrium adsorption capacity of TCH by LFT0.3C0.15 adsorbent is 44 mg/g, and the adsorption process can be simulated by Pseudo-first-order kinetic equation ( R2 &gt; 0.99). Therefore, the adsorption process of TCH belongs to physical adsorption process. The adsorbent was recovered by magnetic attraction, and placed in the desorption agent (H2O2, 0.05 M) under ultrasonic and stand for 30 min to regeneration. After five adsorption/desorption cycles, the removal rate of TCH by LFT0.3C0.15 is still 80%, and the recovery rate of adsorption property is 95%, indicating that the prepared LFT0.3C0.15 has good adsorption repeatability.
