In order to investigate the thermal behavior of stabilized plasticized polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and the recovery of hydrocarbon energy from the source, the non-isothermal kinetics, thermodynamics and lifetime of thermolysis of stabilized plasticized PVC (SPP-1 and SPP-2) containing organic tin, cerium stearate and dipentaerythritol complex were investigated by thermogravimetric analyzer in nitrogen atmosphere. The samples were heated at different heating rates 5, 10, 20 and 30°Cmin<sup>-1</sup>. The kinetic parameters of different samples were determined by using the obtained data and evaluated by isoconversional method, differential method, integral method and master plot method. The kinetic parameters show the applicability to the pyrolysis of SPP-1 and SPP-2, and the reaction model is suitable to describe the thermal behavior of different samples. The kinetic triplet and mechanism fitting results show that the pyrolysis mechanism of SPP-1 in the three stages follows F1, F1 and F2, and the pyrolysis mechanism of SPP-2 in the three stages follows F1 and F1.3 and F1.5 mechanism respectively. The simulated curve is in good agreement with the experimental curve. The thermodynamic parameters (△G, △H and △S) and lifetime of pyrolysis of different samples were evaluated.
