The University of Michigan-Flint chemistry club has long been defined by its demo program. We have used our library of demos and hands-on-activities to provide science outreach to our local community and engage children of all ages. Historically, we have brought demonstrations and activities directly to Genesee County classrooms or invited school groups to visit campus and our labs. Due to changes in school visitation policy in the past few years, the club has decided to focus on collaborating with other organizations. From an increased effort to connect with other clubs on campus and other MI chemistry clubs through social events, to partnering with our newly remodeled science museum the Sloan Museum of Discovery and Longway Planetarium. This stronger network has extended our reach into campus and our community and excited new members to participate in science outreach.

Where thousands of chemistry professionals meet to share ideas and advance scientific and technical knowledge. Spring 2023 abstracts, posters, and presentations will launch at the end of March.
