Lithium-metal batteries have attracted widespread attention due to high energy density, but the commercial applications have been limited by lithium dendrites and severe volume change. In this work, we designed a flexible self-supporting film anode material modified with Cu2O/Cu nanoparticles using three-dimensional (3D) single-wall carbon nanotube conductive network as the flexible backbone (Cu2O/Cu@SCNTs). The lithiophilic Cu2O/Cu sites can reduce lithium nucleation overpotential, effectively guiding uniform Li deposition in the 3D host. Additionally, the 3D single-wall carbon nanotube conductive network can accelerate the diffusion rate of lithium ion, reduce the local current density, and alleviate huge volume expansion during repeated plating/striping cycle, significantly improving the electrochemical performance. Benefiting from the above advantages, the Cu2O/Cu@SCNTs show excellent Coulombic efficiency remains at 95% after 100 stable cycles at 5 mA cm-2. Remarkably, the Cu2O/Cu@SCNTs/Li exhibits ultralow overpotential of 20 mV and long-term cycling life over 900 h in a symmetric cell at 1 mA cm-2 and 1 mAh cm-2. In addition, it has excellent cycle stability in the Li/Cu2O/ Cu@SCNTs//LiFePO4 full cell, which may provide a practical idea for the subsequent design of lithium metal anode.
